October Apples

Ambrosia
Discovered in British Columbia in the 1980's from a chance seedling, where it has become a very popular apple. We were fortunate to acquire this apple, as it is now difficult to get.  British Columbia is restricting the distribution of it to control its marketing.  The fruit has a reddish-pink blush over a yellow background color. The flesh is firm, crisp, and juicy with a sweet, pleasant flavor.

crimsoncrispCrimsonCrisp
A firm, crisp, and tart late apple.  This is a new apple, and 2011 should have our first crop.  We are anxious to see how it is received by our customers.

A late sweet, golden delicious type apple.

Macoun appleMacoun apple
An excellent dessert apple with characteristics similar to McIntosh. However, we feel it has a better flavor that the mac, and it has better shelf life.  Flesh is white, firm, and juicy. It is one of the parent apples to Honeycrisp.

snow SweetSnow Sweet
A late apple with a sweet/tart flavor with white flesh, explaining the "snow" in its name.  2011 will be our first crop of this apple, and we are anxious to see how it rates with the public.
